Administrative Structure of Pakistan and Good Governance (Pakistan ka intezaami dhaancha or achi hukamrani ka tasawwur) is the 5th Chapter in Pakistan Studies new course for FA/F.Sc/ICS/ICOM Students. This course was recently revised by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad (FBISE).The first chapter (Administrative Structure of Pakistan and Good Governance پاکستان کا انتظامی ڈھانچہ اور اچھی حکمرانی کا نصوّر ) has the following objectives. Acquaintance with the institutions and their role in the uplifts of the country. Knowledge of the working of political institutions in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Understand role of an individual in the progress of the country. Knowledge of leadership in the country. Understand the Islamic perspective of Good Governance and its role in the devolution of power plan. Comprehend the obstacles and their remedies in the way to Good Governance. In this chapter the students of intermediate classes will cover various Institutions of Federal Government and their functions, Provincial Governments and their functions, Local Governments with reference to Devolution Plan 2001, Islamic perspective of good governance, Administration in the era of Hazrat Umar (Razi Allahu Ta’Aala Anhu), Devolution of power plan and Good Governance and Obstacles and remedies in the way to Good Governance.
